The Mill | San Francisco

A couple of weeks ago I made a quick trip to SF of course I had to stop at my usual favorites Tartine Bakery and B Patisserie but I’ve heard a few good things about The Mill so decided it was time to pay a visit. They are known for their bread and toast! I believe their toast selection changes daily, I can’t recall the exact toast we had – something with brown sugar and maybe honey? It

Sightglass Coffe | San Francisco

growing up i used to have a dream that i would one day open my own coffee shop with a home/market shop on the side. it would be a place for people to meet and work as well as a place to buy tasty eats and accessories for the home. the dream sort of passed but if it ever came back, i’d want to the space to look like sightglass coffee. i instantly fell in love with the

Dandelion | San Francisco

dandelion chocolate was one of my favorite places i visited on my last trip to san francisco. they are a bean to bar chocolate factory with a newly opened location in the mission. they use quality chocolate and nothing else – besides the fact that they have delicious chocolate their attention to detail is superb. i absolutely adore their letterpress packaging and they still wrap and label their chocolate by hand. their staff is super friendly and knowledgeable

B Patisserie | San Francisco

Marion and Rose | San Francisco

while in oakland maia showed me around her neighborhood and we stopped into several adorable shops one of those was marion and rose workshop. i loved the space – large windows allowing some bright beautiful light to come into the shop. they carry an assortment of home goods and accessories selected from innovative designer and artisans. everything they carry has a handmade, high quality touch both from locally in oakland as well as other places from around the

while i was in san francisco a few weeks ago a few friends and i had brunch at plow (thanks for the recommendation aaron!). tiny but beautiful space. definitely recommend it for brunch, and i would recommend going in a smaller group so you don’t have to wait as long. i ordered the plow breakfast, jon’s fried egg sandwich is pictured below and oh man the fried potatoes are so delicious.
